    Neighbourhood Hubs

What if the corner shop was your delivery point?

PORTAL was born to connect neighbours. The next step we are exploring is turning local shops into pickup and delivery points — strengthening the neighbourhood and cutting the cost of the "last mile".

    How it would work

    1. You shop online

From any store. At checkout, you choose your nearest Neighbourhood Hub instead of your home.

    2. A local shop receives it

The corner shop, kiosk or neighbourhood pharmacy keeps your parcel safe — earning a small fee per package plus extra footfall.

    3. A neighbour can bring it to you

Someone already passing your street (on foot or by bike) can make the final delivery and earn extra income. Fewer vans, less CO2, more community.
